New Student Retreat
Take this time to get off campus, relax, meet some new friends, and enjoy the outdoors. The New Student Retreat is Saturday, Sept. 10-Sunday, Sept. 11, 4pm-4pm. We will be going to Camp Lawrence, just north of town. There are open fields, a lake, volleyball, and some nice wooded areas.
This retreat focuses on the transition to college, a way to approach learning about your identity, and most importantly making some new friends in a great community.

Kairos - January 2012
The Kairos retreat is a 3-day 2-night retreat at the Lindenwood Retreat Center in Donaldson, Indiana. Kairos is greek for "The Supreme Movement." In other words, it is the appointed time in the purpose of God. Kairos provides opportunities to reflect on our experiences and God's work in them. We look seriously at God's call in our lives and where we are being directed.
Kairos is facilitated by a team of students and is a great opportunity to meet people and make lasting friends. The team presents opportunities for hearing witnesses of God's work in our lives, time to reflect and share in small groups, time for personal prayer on beautiful land, and some to just get away from campus and play some games.

Busy Student's Retreat - Spring 2012
The Busy Student's Retreat is unlike any retreat you've ever done before. (Unless you've done this retreat before, in that case it's slightly similar). The BSR is a retreat that takes place amidst the school year. Often we don't feel that we have time to take a retreat. There is too much school work, too many events, and simply not enough time. The Busy Student's Retreat takes place during the school week.
During the retreat you will work with a "Spiritual Director" for 30 minutes each day. A spiritual directory is NOT a teacher or guru who tells you the "correct" way to find God. Instead, they walk with you and aid you in noticing patterns in your life and provide you with resources to help you on your journey.
If you have always wanted to make a retreat to deepen your faith but never had the time to give, this is the retreat for you!
Dates and sign ups will be announced later in the year.
