Meet the Middle School Youth Minister
Hi! My name is Michelle Minich and I am a VU alumni and
former member of St. T’s! While at VU, I studied Psychology, Theology and Youth
and Family Ministry. I also ran on the cross country and track teams and served
with the youth and children at St. T’s. I met my husband, Nick, during our
senior year teaching confirmation! Nick was also very active at St. T’s,
serving at Café Manna and attending the spring break habitat trips. After
graduating, I moved to Pasadena, CA to attend Fuller Seminary and
received an MA in Youth, Family and Culture (a youth ministry-focused degree).
At Fuller, I also had the opportunity to work with the 5th and 6th
grade students at Saddleback Church in Orange County. After Fuller, my
husband and I moved to Colorado where he worked on his Masters of Engineering
at CU Denver and I served as the Middle School Youth Director at Rockland
Community Church in Golden, CO. Now that Nick has graduated, we’ve moved back
to the area and I’m excited to announce that I will be working with the middle
school students here at St. Teresa! Nick and I are thrilled to be back ‘home’
at Valpo and St. T’s and look forward to getting to know the community! Watch
for upcoming middle school events and our middle school youth group to kick-off
Jan. 15th!
