We are currently looking for Adopt A Student Parents/Families for the 2011-2012 school year. The Adopt a Student program is a wonderful way to give to the college students individually. It is a program that lets the student know that besides Father Kevin, there is a fellow Catholic out there that is here for them. Adopt a Student 2011-2012
The Adopt a Student program at St. Teresa's allows community members and families to "adopt" an VU student (often a freshman or transfer student) and to be a home away from home. They are encouraged to offer a home cooked meal, a ride to Target, or just a place to get away. Some students keep in touch for many years past their VU experience, others need a place of comfort for the first few months, while others just need to know there is someone in town if they are needed. We encourage you to consider this ministry and adopting a student for the 2011-2012 year. Families are allowed to adopt a new student even if they adopted a student in previous years.
